The United States' Miranda Warning states: "Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." That same sentiment was exercised by the New Orleans Saints in their social media caption after their Week 9 victory.
New Orleans held on to defeat the Cleveland Browns 23-22 in overtime to get back in the win column. Cleveland attempted a two-point conversion after a touchdown late in the extra period, but New Orleans forced a stop for the victory.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders started for the Browns with Deshaun Watson inactive after suffering a concussion. Sanders, making his first start of the season, was asked Wednesday about what he's seen from the Saints' defense. He flashed a grin before saying: "I've seen a lot. When I smile just know that means something."
New Orleans remembered the comment, captioning its post with the quote and using an image of players doing Sanders' signature celebration.
Here are the top NFL trolls from Week 9.

Los Angeles Rams 20, Washington Commanders 13
The Los Angeles Rams are winners of three straight after beating the Washington Commanders.
Playing alongside Aaron Donald for the first time, Myles Garrett put up three sacks and a forced fumble as the Rams' defense flexed its muscles. On the offensive side, wide receiver Puka Nacua caught 14 catches for 150 yards and a touchdown.
Los Angeles went deep in the archives to poke fun at Washington. The Rams referenced a 1976 segment of "Schoolhouse Rock!" an educational series, titled "I'm Just A Bill." The musical chronicles how a bill passes through the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. to become a law. Often shown in social studies classes, the main character is a rolled up piece of paper with "bill" on the front.
Los Angeles put its own spin on the famous episode, putting "Rams" on the bill and a "W" behind it in a font similar to "Schoolhouse Rock!" The caption? "It's just a dub!"

New York Giants 19, Philadelphia Eagles 11
The New York Giants gutted out a win against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road -- New York's first road win against Philadelphia since 2013, according to ESPN Research.
The low-scoring affair included 463 combined total yards and just two touchdowns. The Giants defense recorded seven sacks -- their most in a game since Week 13 in 2024 -- with rookie linebacker Arvell Reese having three of them.
Playing in the city known for cheesesteaks, New York poked fun at Philadelphia by ripping a cheesesteak in half and placing it on a plate with the game's score above it. The Giants shared a fast-paced video packed with jabs at Philadelphia, including a variety of bald eagle memes and a clip of LeBron James.
Cincinnati Bengals 34, Atlanta Falcons 17
Trolls sometimes go international, too. The Cincinnati Bengals took down the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL's annual game in Madrid.
Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow tossed 271 yards and three touchdowns -- two of which went to wide receiver Tee Higgins. Fellow Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had 10 receptions for 115 yards and one score himself. After a 10-point first frame, the Falcons offense had one touchdown the rest of the way.
Set in Spain, the Bengals had region-themed trolls aimed at the Falcons. They shared an image of a bengal gazing with bird feathers falling down with the caption: "Sundays in Spain >" and "No Fly Zone" on the image. Madrid is known for its churros and Cincinnati created a "W" out of one for a separate post.

Dallas Cowboys 27, Indianapolis Colts 23
It required a late touchdown, but the Dallas Cowboys left Indianapolis with a victory over the Colts.
Indianapolis tied it following a field goal with 1:37 left in the game. Dallas started its next drive with a 46-yard pass from Dak Prescott to wide receiver Ryan Flournoy. Four plays later, Dallas running back Javonte Williams found the endzone for a go ahead score.
With Indianapolis as the home of the Indy 500, the Cowboys added a race car emoji to the caption of their post.
