Eagles-Jaguars opening kickoff melee leads to 2 ejections (0:51)

LONDON -- Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Bryan Thomas Jr. were ejected after getting into a fight on the opening kickoff Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Trotter and Thomas scuffled during the kickoff and continued fighting and had to be pulled apart after the play was over. Officials met for several moments before announcing the ejections.

The fight happened during Jacksonville rookie Josh Cameron's 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, which was nullified because the Eagles were penalized for illegal formation and the Jaguars were penalized for holding by linebacker Branson Combs.

Another return proved key to the finish, as Ameer Abdullah ran back a kickoff to the Eagles 39 and Cam Little made a 57-yard field goal as time expired for a 19-17 Jaguars win.

Trotter was expected to start over Jihaad Campbell at linebacker for the Eagles. The son of the four-time Pro Bowler logged a career-high 15 tackles last week in Philadelphia's loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

Thomas, an undrafted rookie, is a backup defensive end who was appearing in his fourth career game Sunday.
