Melbourne have earned their second Rising Star nomination of the AFL season, with James Harmes given the nod for round seven.
Harmes booted three goals, tallied 26 disposals and laid five tackles in the Demons' 73-point thumping of Gold Coast last Saturday.
Harmes, taken in the 2014 rookie draft, has played all seven games this year.
"James has been working really hard to develop his craft and this nomination is good reward for his effort," Demons coach Paul Roos said.
"We know that when he plays with intensity, like he did on the weekend, he is a very valuable member of our team."
Demons midfielder Clayton Oliver was nominated for the award in round one.
