Cameron Norrie fell two sets to one down against Jaume Munar before coming back to beat the Spaniard 6-4, 3-6, 5-7, 6-0, 6-2 on Court One at Wimbledon on Wednesday.

The British No. 1 will now progress to the third round on the same day that U.S. Open champion Emma Raducanu was beaten by Caroline Garcia 6-3, 6-3 on Centre Court.

It was another long day for Norrie after his first round contest was delayed during play due to bad weather.

World No. 71 Munar appeared to be struggling in the latter sets with cramp which gave Norrie the opportunity to overcome his opponent.

Norrie will face Steve Johnson in the next round who knocked out Britain's Ryan Peniston 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.

Peniston had secured his first Wimbledon win in the first round but was largely outplayed by Johnson on Wednesday.

There had been high hopes for the 135th-ranked Peniston who had made it to the quarterfinals at Eastbourne, Queen's Club and Nottingham.

Harriet Dart was also competing on Wednesday and beat Rebeka Masarova 6-1, 6-4 in a comprehensive display.
