They have however suffered back to back defeats at Murrayfield - to the Dragons in the European Cup and the Ospreys in the Celtic League. Munster have strung together a run of six successive victories in the Celtic League and climbed from 9th place to 2nd in the table in the process. The Irishmen have won on their last three visits to Scotland but this is their first match on the famous Murrayfield turf. Edinburgh did the double over Munster in the Celtic League last season to gain some revenge for two Munster wins in the competition in 2001 and 2002.
