Sevens star Brendan Williams is poised to make a similar impact in the 15-man game with selection in the Waratahs' 30-man squad for the Super 12 series.
The Waratahs meet the Waikato Chiefs in the opening game at the Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday.
"Brendan picked himself with outstanding performances in the trial matches and his versatility makes him a valuable member of the squad," Waratahs coach Bob Dwyer said. "All the players on the list are in good form and we're looking forward to
seeing them in action."
There are five players unavailable for Saturday's game with Tom Bowman, Matt Dowling, Sam Harris, Steve Talbot and Jason Reilly missing through injury.
