Epalahame Faiva scored a pair of tries to help Treviso to a 27-21 Guinness PRO14 win over Cheetahs at Stadio Monigo.

Cheetahs fly-half Fred Zeilinga booted three penalties to put the Cheetahs into a 9-0 lead before Monty Ioane raced in for the opening try for the Italians and make it 9-5 at the break.

Marty Banks kicked a penalty to get Benetton within a point but the South Africans went further ahead through Teboho Mohoje's try and a Zeilinga conversion.

However, with Torsten van Jaarsveld and Shaun Venter in the sin bin for Cheetahs the hosts took advantage with a try double from Faiva and another from Federico Ruzza with Banks converting two. Mohoje's late second try was mere consolation.
