Wing Christian Wade and full-back Willie Le Roux stood out as Wasps grabbed a 30-15 Aviva Premiership bonus-point victory in the race for end-of-season play-off places.

Wade scored two tries, with lock Joe Launchbury and replacement Josh Bassett getting one each as Wasps dominated their opponents.

Centre Jimmy Gopperth kicked two penalties and a conversion, with wing Elliot Daly adding another two points, against two late Worcester tries from replacement Dean Hammond and wing Josh Adams.

Fly-half Dorian Jones kicked a Worcester penalty as well, with replacement Jamie Shillcock landing a conversion.

Wasps almost had the job done by half-time as Wade and Le Roux teamed up for two of their side's three tries during the opening period, and had a major part in the third touchdown too.

The South African full-back put former England international Wade through for the first of his brace on 10 minutes as Wasps terrorised the Worcester right-wing avenue.

Wade roared over from 15 metres before Gopperth pushed Wasps' lead to eight points with a simple penalty.

The game went scrappy, with Jones reducing Worcester's arrears with a penalty.

But the home side surged when Le Roux fed Wade to almost go over before the recycled ball went to England lock Launchbury and he powered through to the line.

Gopperth added the extras and, six minutes from the break, the Le Roux-Wade combination was at it again with the full-back breaking from halfway for the wing to storm down the right and go over in the corner.

And it was all going well for Wasps ace Danny Cipriani until he went off a minute before half-time for a head injury assessment. The ex-England stand-off passed the examination but Wasps director of rugby Dai Young decided to keep replacement Gaby Lovobalavu on.

Another Gopperth penalty sent Wasps well ahead at the interval but they were down to 14 men when flanker Jack Willis brought full-back Chris Pennell down on his shoulder in a tackle. Willis was sin-binned after a review by TMO Stuart Terheege.

But the game turned scrappy again before the hour with errors littering play.

Wasps thought they had their bonus-point try when a move in the Worcester 22 saw number eight Guy Thompson put over by Wade, but play was reviewed again and Gopperth was sent to the bin for

pushing Worcester lock Andrew Kitchener while he was in the air.

That only delayed the fourth try by seconds as Bassett intercepted from near halfway and raced over for Daly to convert.

Hammond and Adams got late consolation tries for Worcester but it was Wasps' day.
