Semesa Rokoduguni seals thrilling Bath win with stunning late brace

Two late tries from Semesa Rokoduguni gave Bath -- who ended with 14 men due to Anthony Watson's injury -- a dramatic victory against Saracens.

Saracens, who found themselves 14-0 down at half time, looked to have secured the win at the Recreation Ground when Ben Spencer scored their second try with seven minutes left.

However, despite seeing Watson hobble off with an apparent shoulder injury, Rokoduguni stepped up to win the match for the hosts.

Within four minutes of Spencer's intervention he had waltzed through the Saracens defence to score a wonderful solo effort. And with time running out, and the Bath rearguard working overtime, the England wing picked off an interception before racing the length of the pitch to put the seal on victory.

Earlier, fly-half Rhys Priestland had been a composed presence as the hosts built a two-score lead at the break.

Francois Louw powered over for the game's first try, to add to Priestland's earlier drop goal and the Wales No. 10 would kick two penalties before the interval.

Saracens boss Mark McCall introduced a trio of British & Irish Lions from the bench early in the second half, with Alex Lozowski and Owen Farrell getting the visitors on the scoreboard with a couple of penalties.

And the momentum of the game appeared to swing their way with 22 minutes left as they were awarded a penalty try with Jackson Wray driving for the line. To add to Bath's woe, Taulupe Faletau was sent to the bin for his involvement in collapsing the driving maul.

The hosts restricted Saracens to just a solitary Farrell penalty with their No. 8 off the field, but Spencer looked to have broken home hearts when he went over in the left corner.

Rokoduguni had other ideas, however, needing just three minutes to secure an enthralling win with a stunning late cameo.
