Ramiro Moyano grabbed a hat-trick as the Jaguares eased to their third victory in their opening four games of the Super Rugby campaign, in a 41-14 win over the Cheetahs.

The Cheetahs had 58% of possession and 62% of the terrirtory but the result was never in doubt. Moyano touched down seven minutes in, with Juan Martin Hernandez adding the conversion.

The fly-half added a penalty and then converted lock Matias Alemanno's try as the Argentinean side raced into a 17-0 lead. Michael van der Spuy grabbed one for the Cheetahs, but the 17-point margin was restored when Moyano grabbed his second before half-time.

Hernandez kicked Jaguares further but the Cheetahs hit back with Joeseph Dweba touching down after Santiago Gonzalez Iglesias was sin-binned.

There was still time for Moyano to complete his hat-trick and a penalty try awarded at the death as Jaguares recorded a third victory from four games, over South African sides at the start of their Super Rugby campaign.
