Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs is requesting a trade amid the team's rebuilding efforts, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Wednesday.
Downs' request comes a day after the Colts traded away eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson and three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner in separate deals.
Running back Jonathan Taylor, perhaps the Colts' biggest trade asset, has not requested a trade, however. Asked by reporters Wednesday if Taylor had requested to be traded, coach Shane Steichen answered, "no."
Steichen also was asked whether Nelson and Buckner had requested to be traded and replied that he would keep that information "private."
The Colts (2-5) traded Buckner to the San Francisco 49ers for a 2027 fourth round draft pick and Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick.
The moves come a week after the Colts fired longtime general manager Chris Ballard.
Downs, 25, leads the Colts with 307 receiving yards this season. His 26 receptions rank third on the team behind tight end Tyler Warren (30) and wide receiver Keenan Allen (29).
