          The Minnesota RØKKR announced today that it will host a $40,000 charity Call of Duty: Warzone tournament on Saturday.

          The 12-second announcement video was posted on Twitter around noon on Tuesday, with the words "RØKKR ROYALE" flashing on screen.

          The only details that are known so far are that eight celebrity teams will be involved, competing in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Warzone battle royale mode.

          The tournament will take place on the RØKKR's Twitch channel on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.

          "All seven of our players will be competing, as well as our Coach Brian "Saintt" Baroska, Assistant Coach/Analyst Jake "REPPIN" Trobaugh and our Director of Content Ashley "MiDNiTE" Glassel," the RØKKR told ESPN.

          Warzone tournaments have been popular in the past month, with Keemstar's "Warzone Wednesdays" and FaZe Clan's #Fight2Fund being two of the more prominent. Many athletes have been streaming and participating in these kinds of events as well -- and in the case of Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill, have even gotten into some playful Twitter beef with the Seattle Surge's Josiah "Slacked" Berry.
