That's the last over. The players are shaking hands in the middle. The captain's have agreed that there in no chance of a win, so the match is drawn. The experienced pair of Poynter and Dockrell batted through 29 overs to save the match for the Lightning. With so much time lost in the game the draw was always going to be the favourite result.
The Lightning get 10 points to move them up to 15 points in the Championship table. The Knights take 8 points from the game so they will still lead the table on 18 points.
The next Interprovincial game is on the 27th May when the Northern Knights play the North West Warriors in a T20 game at Comber. So until then that just leaves me to thank you for following my coverage of the last three days. This is Justin Smyth saying bye from a cloudy Stormont. Goodnight!
