North Melbourne youngster Jy Simpkin has capped off a career-best year by winning the club's best and fairest award, the Syd Barker Medal.
Simpkin, 23, won the award with 143 votes ahead of veteran Ben Cunnington (117), and North's captain, Jack Ziebell (114).
In 2021, Simpkin averaged a career-high 26.9 disposals, 4.4 marks, 3.8 tackles and 5.1 clearances per game.
