Complexity Gaming has made their entrance into professional VALORANT, signing a five stack with a variety of FPS backgrounds. Michael "AGM" Abood, Corbin "C0M" Lee and David "Xp3" Garrido bring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive experience to the roster. Cody "Frisco" Day also has a CS:GO background, while also having competed in Overwatch tournaments. Riley "ohaaiii" Nguyen comes from competitive Apex Legends.
"Valorant is an exciting game that's shaping up to have a vibrant competitive ecosystem, and we're thrilled to officially be a part of it," said Sören Vendsahm, General Manager of Complexity Gaming in a release to ESPN. "Our Valorant team comes from diverse competitive backgrounds and has shown great chemistry and significant potential. We're looking forward to seeing how our team grows and develops over the coming months, leveraging our dedicated support staff and vast resources available to them as a part of the Complexity Gaming family."
The team's first major tournament will be the PAX Arena Invitational, taking place from July 22 to July 26. Complexity are among the invited teams, as well as top NA teams in VALORANT including TSM, T1, Gen.G., Cloud9, 100 Thieves, FaZe Clan, and more.
Complexity compete in several esports, including CS:GO, FIFA, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Madden, MTG: Arena, Hearthstone as well as housing a team of streamers.
