Kimi Raikkonen does not feel unprepared for qualifying in Austria despite only completing one lap on the super-soft tyre before a flat-spot in FP2.
Raikkonen finished third, two tenths down on team-mate Sebastian Vettel, but soon suffered a heavy lock-up on the red-striped tyre. It meant he finished the session doing a longer run on the soft tyre rather than the option, before a late gearbox issue for Sebastian Vettel ended his own super-soft run prematurely.
Asked if he felt unprepared by Ferrari's limited option tyre data, Raikkonen replied: "No.
"We did a normal Friday but then only did one lap on the super-soft. I would have preferred to run it on the long run but I destroyed it myself. We tried to run it on the other car but I don't think they could run as long as they wanted, so it's one of those things that didn't pan out as we wanted.
"We did the soft long run and more or less everything is OK - still some things to improve and work on but not too bad."
Vettel's headline time and Raikkonen's long run pace on the soft tyre suggested Ferrari will be a threat to Mercedes this weekend but the Finn was typically cagey about the team's chances.
Asked whether Ferrari could challenge for the win, he simply replied: "We'll see on Sunday."
