Second-half goals from Senad Lulic and Ciro Immobile saw Lazio extend their unbeaten run to six games as they edged to a 2-1 victory over Sassuolo at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.

Felipe Anderson had his effort saved just after the break but Lulic made no mistake as he put the home side ahead after 50 minutes, tapping home Keita's cross from close range.

Italy striker Immobile doubled Lazio's lead just five minutes later as he slotted Stefan Radu's header from Anderson's corner into the bottom corner for his 12th goal of the season.

Gregoire Defrel pulled one back for the visitors two minutes later but the hosts held on for maximum points to move up to fourth.
