North Dakota State wins 67-62 over Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. -- — Boden Skunberg scored 20 points as North Dakota State beat Portland 67-62 on Monday.
Skunberg also contributed 10 rebounds for the Bison (2-8). Tajavis Miller shot 7 for 13, including 3 for 7 from beyond the arc to add 17 points. Damari Wheeler-Thomas went 5 of 9 from the field to finish with 12 points, while adding six rebounds.
Kristian Sjolund led the Pilots (7-5) in scoring, finishing with 19 points and two steals. Moses Wood added 13 points and eight rebounds for Portland. In addition, Vasilije Vucinic finished with 12 points and six rebounds.
North Dakota State went into the half ahead of Portland 28-24. Wheeler-Thomas scored eight points in the half. Skunberg led North Dakota State with 13 points in the second half as his team outscored Portland by one point over the final half.
