Coventry v Bradford
Coventry substitute Andy Rose nets winner with first touch against Bradford
Substitute Andy Rose fired Coventry to a 1-0 victory over Bradford with a stunning first touch. The midfielder was sent on by Tony Mowbray in the 58th minute and within a matter of seconds he came up with the killer finish to keep alive the home team's hopes of reaching the League One play-offs.Rose got on the end of a header from Adam Armstrong and shot home from the edge of the area as the ball crossed the line via the underside of the bar.Bradford only had themselves to blame for wasting several first-half chances as Coventry continued to give the ball away in their own half. The home side felt they should have had two penalties before the break before the visitors stepped it up in the second half and went close through Josh Cullen and Jamie Proctor.Rose delivered the winning goal in the 59th minute before Billy Clarke missed a great chance to level for the visitors.Bradford's miserable night was completed when substitute Steven Davies was sent off in the 81st minute for an off-the-ball incident involving Jack Stephens.
