Gruden 'optimistic' about Carr, won't name starter
Raiders coach Jon Gruden said Thursday he is "optimistic" quarterback Derek Carr will be active Saturday against the Dolphins, but wouldn't say for certain given the nature of groin injuries. In the meantime, backup Marcus Mariota will be ready to play.
