Stony Brook secures 62-53 win against Northeastern
BOSTON -- — Tyler Stephenson-Moore's 21 points helped Stony Brook defeat Northeastern 62-53 on Thursday night in a Coastal Athletic Association opener.
Stephenson-Moore added three steals for the Seawolves (8-6). Aaron Clarke scored 14 points and added seven rebounds. Keenan Fitzmorris was 3 of 8 shooting and 7 of 8 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points.
The Huskies (5-9) were led in scoring by Masai Troutman, who finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and two steals. Chris Doherty added 15 points and 12 rebounds for Northeastern. Joe Pridgen also put up eight points and eight rebounds.
