Grant had three steals for the Dukes (18-11, 8-8 Atlantic 10 Conference). Jimmy Clark III scored 12 points while going 5 of 7 and 2 of 3 from the free throw line, and added four steals. Fousseyni Drame had 10 points and shot 2 of 3 from the field and 6 for 6 from the line.
Darius Maddox finished with 22 points for the Patriots (18-11, 7-9). George Mason also got eight points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks from Woody Newton. Jared Billups also had eight points and four steals.
