Davidson secures 72-59 victory against Duquesne
PITTSBURGH -- — Connor Kochera scored 11 of his 19 points in the first half as Davidson beat Duquesne 72-59 on Wednesday night.
Kochera added six rebounds for the Wildcats (13-9, 3-6 Atlantic 10 Conference). Grant Huffman scored 18 points while going 6 of 12 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 5 for 6 from the line, and added six rebounds and five assists. Bobby Durkin had 11 points and was 3 of 8 shooting (3 for 7 from 3-point range).
Fousseyni Drame finished with 15 points for the Dukes (13-9, 3-6). Jake DiMichele added 15 points for Duquesne. David Dixon also recorded 10 points.
Both teams next play Saturday. Davidson hosts George Mason and Duquesne plays Saint Bonaventure on the road.
