HAMDEN, Conn. -- — Matt Balanc scored 17 points as Quinnipiac beat Marist 73-64 on Thursday night.
Balanc had six rebounds for the Bobcats (22-8, 14-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Amarri Tice added 16 points while going 5 of 10 from the floor, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and 5 for 8 from the line and he also had nine rebounds. Richie Springs shot 4 for 6 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line to finish with 12 points.
Jackson Price led the way for the Red Foxes (16-12, 11-8) with 12 points. Jadin Collins added 11 points and 11 rebounds for Marist. Javon Cooley also had 11 points.
