BUFFALO, N.Y. -- — Siem Uijtendaal scored 24 points as Canisius beat Robert Morris 87-80 on Wednesday night.
Uijtendaal had five rebounds for the Golden Griffins (6-4). Frank Mitchell added 18 points while going 6 of 11 and 6 of 9 from the free throw line, and they also had 12 rebounds. TJ Gadsden had 16 points and shot 6 for 12 (0 for 4 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free throw line.
TJ Wainwright led the Colonials (2-7) in scoring, finishing with 19 points. Josh Corbin added 16 points and six assists for Robert Morris. In addition, Markeese Hastings finished with 14 points and eight rebounds.
