Chaplin and Douglas combine for 42 points and Little Rock takes down UTSA 93-84
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- — Jamir Chaplin scored 22 points, Bradley Douglas added 20 and Little Rock beat UTSA 93-84 on Wednesday night.
Douglas added seven rebounds and Chaplin grabbed five. The pair combined for 13-of-24 shooting from the floor and made five of the Trojans' nine 3-pointers.
Jordan Jefferson shot 3 for 10 (2 for 4 from 3-point range) and 9 of 10 from the free-throw line to finish with 17 points for Little Rock (5-6), which shot 50% (29 of 58) from the floor, hit 9 of 18 from long range and made 26 of its 30 free throws.
The Roadrunners (5-5) were led in scoring by Christian Tucker, who finished with 23 points. Isaiah Wyatt added 16 points and nine rebounds for UTSA. Dre Fuller Jr. had 12 points and five assists. The Roadrunners made 14 of 34 3-pointers and were 20-of-28 shooting at the free-throw line.
