NEWARK, N.J. -- — Kadary Richmond scored 18 points as Seton Hall beat Saint Peter's 70-59 in a season-opener on Monday night.
Richmond had six rebounds, seven assists, and six steals for the Pirates. Dre Davis added 14 points while shooting 4 of 8 from the field and 5 for 5 from the line, and he also had six rebounds. Al-Amir Dawes had 14 points and was 5 of 8 shooting (4 for 7 from 3-point range).
The Peacocks were led by Latrell Reid, who recorded 14 points. Michael Houge added 11 points for Saint Peter's. In addition, Armoni Zeigler finished with 10 points.
