Anochili-Killen puts up 20 as Marshall takes down UL Monroe 68-57
MONROE, La. -- — Obinna Anochili-Killen's 20 points helped Marshall defeat UL Monroe 68-57 on Wednesday night.
Anochili-Killen also contributed nine rebounds and three blocks for the Thundering Herd (7-8, 2-0 Sun Belt Conference). Kamdyn Curfman scored 14 points and added three steals. Jacob Conner was 3-of-7 shooting (1 for 3 from 3-point range) to finish with nine points, while adding seven rebounds and nine assists.
The Warhawks (4-8, 0-2) were led by Jerry Ngopot, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. Tyreke Locure added nine points and four steals for UL Monroe. In addition, Makai Willis finished with eight points.
