Vermont defeats Albany 94-80

ALBANY, N.Y. -- — Shamir Bogues scored 17 points to help Vermont defeat Albany 94-80 on Thursday night.

Bogues had five rebounds and seven assists for the Catamounts (22-6, 12-1 America East Conference). TJ Long scored 15 points while going 5 of 10 from the floor, including 1 for 5 from 3-point range, and 4 for 5 from the line. Aaron Deloney had 14 points and was 4 of 8 shooting, including 2 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 4 from the line.

The Great Danes (12-15, 4-8) were led by Tyler Bertram, who posted 27 points. Sebastian Thomas added 19 points, six rebounds and four assists for Albany. In addition, Amar'e Marshall finished with 14 points and three steals.
