SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- — Sherif Kenney's 24 points helped Bryant defeat Binghamton 77-69 on Thursday night.
Kenney shot 6 for 15 (1 for 5 from 3-point range) and 11 of 15 from the free throw line for the Bulldogs (10-7, 2-0 America East Conference). Earl Timberlake scored 18 points and added nine rebounds. Daniel Rivera had 12 points and was 6 of 10 shooting and 0 of 3 from the free throw line.
Nehemiah Benson led the Bearcats (8-6, 0-1) in scoring, finishing with 21 points and eight rebounds. Binghamton also got 16 points, nine rebounds and three blocks from Tymu Chenery. Armon Harried also had 10 points and eight rebounds.
