SAINT GEORGE, Utah -- — Shemar Wilson scored 16 points as UT Arlington beat Utah Tech 87-66 on Saturday night.

Wilson also had nine rebounds for the Mavericks (11-11, 6-5 Western Athletic Conference). DaJuan Gordon scored 15 points while shooting 4 for 10 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 6 of 6 from the free-throw line, and added 17 rebounds and six assists. Phillip Russell shot 4 for 8 (3 for 6 from 3-point range) and 4 of 6 from the free-throw line to finish with 15 points, while adding three steals.

The Trailblazers (8-14, 4-7) were led by Jaylen Searles, who posted 15 points. Noa Gonsalves added 14 points for Utah Tech. In addition, Tanner Christensen had 11 points and three blocks.
