RUSTON, La. -- — Don McHenry's 20 points helped Western Kentucky defeat Louisiana Tech 81-76 on Wednesday night.
McHenry added six rebounds for the Hilltoppers (16-7, 5-4 Conference USA). Rodney Howard scored 18 points while going 4 of 9 and 10 of 11 from the free throw line, and added six rebounds. Tyrone Marshall shot 4 of 6 from the field and 2 for 3 from the line to finish with 11 points.
The Bulldogs (16-7, 6-2) were led in scoring by Jordan Crawford, who finished with 25 points. Dravon Mangum added 23 points and two steals for Louisiana Tech. In addition, Isaiah Crawford had 13 points and three steals. The loss ended a six-game winning streak for the Bulldogs.
