Hardy scores 27 to lead UTEP past Western Kentucky 93-87
EL PASO, Texas -- — Tae Hardy had 27 points in UTEP's 93-87 win over Western Kentucky on Saturday night.
Hardy added four steals for the Miners (11-8, 2-2 Conference USA). Corey Camper Jr. scored 19 points while going 6 of 11 from the floor, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and 6 for 7 from the line. Zid Powell shot 4 for 15 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 7 of 8 from the free throw line to finish with 17 points.
The Hilltoppers (13-6, 2-3) were led in scoring by Don McHenry, who finished with 18 points and five assists. Western Kentucky also got 16 points from Rodney Howard. In addition, Teagan Moore finished with 15 points.
