BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- — Justin Hohn scored 18 points as UC Irvine beat CSU Bakersfield 75-56 on Saturday night.
Hohn was 6 of 8 shooting, including 4 for 5 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 4 from the foul line for the Anteaters (9-5, 2-0 Big West Conference). Bent Leuchten scored 15 points while shooting 6 of 9 from the field and 3 for 4 from the free-throw line, and added eight rebounds and three blocks. Derin Saran shot 5 of 8 from the field and 4 for 4 from the charity stripe to finish with 14 points.
