FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- — Trenton McLaughlin's 24 points helped Northern Arizona defeat Montana State 76-71 on Saturday night.
McLaughlin also contributed six rebounds for the Lumberjacks (11-14, 4-7 Big Sky Conference). Carson Basham scored 20 points and added 11 rebounds and three steals. Liam Lloyd was 3 of 5 shooting, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 4 from the line to finish with 10 points, while adding eight rebounds.
Brandon Walker led the Bobcats (11-14, 6-6) in scoring, finishing with 22 points. Robert Ford III added 21 points, 11 rebounds and three steals for Montana State. Brian Goracke also had 11 points and 11 rebounds.
