Goldin puts up 11 as Florida Atlantic defeats N. Texas 50-46
DENTON, Texas -- — Vladislav Goldin scored 11 points as Florida Atlantic beat North Texas 50-46 on Thursday night.
Goldin had 13 rebounds for the Owls (12-1). Johnell Davis scored nine points and added nine rebounds. Michael Forrest shot 2 for 7 (1 for 5 from 3-point range) and 4 of 5 from the free throw line to finish with nine points. It was the 11th victory in a row for the Owls.
Tylor Perry led the Mean Green (10-3) in scoring, finishing with 19 points. North Texas also got 12 points and seven rebounds from Abou Ousmane. Rubin Jones also had eight points, six rebounds and three steals. The loss ended a five-game winning streak for the Mean Green.
