HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Andre Fox had 14 points and four assists, Justyn Mutts added 10 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots and High Point ran away from Johnson & Wales (N.C.) 90-54 on Friday night.
Cliff Thomas Jr. finished with a career-best 12 points and six rebounds for the Panthers (3-4), who had 12 players contribute points.
Majerle Poole scored 17 for the Wildcats, but he hit just 1 of 9 from 3-point range as Johnson & Wales shot just 25 percent from beyond the arc.
High Point wasted little time in gaining control, forging a double-digit lead 6:28 into the game and upping that to 48-22 by halftime.
Fox's jumper pushed the Panthers' advantage to 31 early in the second half and the Wildcats never got closer.
