LOGAN, Utah -- Koby McEwen scored 24 points and Utah State opened its Mountain West Conference season by beating San Jose State for the 21st straight time, topping the Spartans 86-72 on Wednesday night.
The Aggies are 33-4 all-time against San Jose State at home and have beaten the Spartans 25 straight times in Logan. Overall, they've beaten the Spartans in 27 of the last 28 meetings.
