FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Bryson Scott scored 23 points, John Konchar 21 and Kason Harrell 20 as Fort Wayne defeated Oral Roberts 85-75 on Thursday night.
Scott added six assists and Konchar had three 3-pointers, seven assists, five steals and two rebounds, which gave him 800 career boards, second-best in school history. The Mastodons (15-10, 4-4 Summit), hit half of their 24 tries from the arc and also shot 50 percent overall.
Albert Owens scored 20 points, Sam Kearns 15 and Emmanuel Nzekwesi 10 for the Golden Eagles (9-16, 3-5 Summit).
Harrell had 12 points and Konchar 10 in the first half when consistent Fort Wayne took a 37-31 lead while shooting 50 percent. The Mastodons clung to the lead in the second half before Scott scored seven points in an 11-6 surge for an 80-70 lead with two minutes left. Harrell added two free throws and Scott three points from there.
