Weber State outlasts Montana State 76-67
OGDEN, Utah -- Jeremy Senglin scored 22 points, Jerrick Harding had 19 and Kyndahl Hill grabbed 15 rebounds and Weber State closed out Big Sky Conference play with a 76-67 win over Montana State Saturday night.
Weber State (17-12, 12-6) is the conference's No. 4 seed and earned a first-round bye in the conference tournament at Reno, Nevada.
Leading 52-51 with 8:31 to go, Zach Braxton scored a layup, Harding and Dusty Baker hit back-to-back 3s and Weber State seized control the rest of the way. Baker had 12 points and made all six of his foul shots.
Zach Green led Montana State (16-15, 11-7) with 19 points, Devonte Klines added 12 and Tyler Hall 11 before he fouled out.
The Bobcats made two more field goals than Weber State, 23-21, but the Wildcats made nine 3s to just four for Montana State. The Bobcats were 8-for-29 shooting (27.6 percent) in the second half.
