Kratch, Santa Clara stun Pepperdine with 106-55 win
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Nate Kratch had a career-high 32 points on 13-of-16 shooting and Santa Clara set a school record with 22 3-pointers to beat Pepperdine 106-55 on Thursday night.
Kratch made 5 of 7 from 3-point range for the Broncos (15-13, 9-6), who set a record for win margin against a West Coast Conference opponent and reached the 100-point mark for the first time against a Division I foe in nine years.
Santa Clara led 54-19 after making 75 percent of its shots from the field in the first half and finished at 63.9 percent -- 61.1 percent on 36 long-range attempts.
K.J. Feagin added 18 points, making all six of his 3-point attempts, Jared Brownridge had 12 points and 10 assists, Henrik Jadersten scored 11 and Matt Hauser had nine points and 11 assists.
Nolan Taylor had 14 points, Lamond Murray Jr. scored 12 and Jonathan Allen 11 for the Waves (9-18, 5-10).
