Tuncay scored twice on his Indian Super League debut and FC Pune City began their season with a 3-1 win against Mumbai City FC.

The former Turkey international opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a header from a Israil Gurung cross.

Mumbai equalised through Frederic Piquionne in the 35th minute, but the second half belonged to Pune City.

Tuncay found his second goal 10 minutes after the break with Gurung providing his second assist for Tuncay to score with a diving header.

Gurung scored himself in the 68th minute with another cross that sailed into the net and made the lead comfortable for Pune City.

Nicolas Anelka played the final 15 minutes for Mumbai but could not spark a comeback.
