Richard Gadze's late goal vaulted Roberto Carlos' Delhi Dynamos into second place in the Indian Super League after a 1-0 defeat of Kerala Blasters on Sunday.
Florent Malouda's cross found Gadze's head in the middle of the box in the 87th minute to hand all three points to the visitors.
Kerala came close to an equaliser three minutes later through CK Vineeth, but Dynamos keeper Toni Doblas made a fine save of his lobbed shot to secure the victory.
With the win, Delhi pulled even on points with first-placed FC Pune City but sit just behind in the table on goal difference after four rounds.
Kerala, who suffered their second loss in four, are in sixth.
