Peter Weatherson's first-half strike kept Annan Athletic's play-off hopes alive with the winner in the 1-0 Ladbrokes League Two win over Queen's Park.
Sean Burns fired an early effort wide as Queen's Park made a bright start.
Bryan Wharton headed over and Paul Woods then saw another effort saved by Jordan Hart as the visitors enjoyed the better opportunities.
Peter Watson headed wide for Annan as they got back into the game but at the other end Burns had another effort turned away by Hart.
But two minutes before the break the hosts went ahead when Weatherson headed home Josh Todd's cross.
David Galt and Liam Brown forced further saves from Hart as Queen's Park went in search of an equaliser, while Matthew Flynn dragged an effort wide for the hosts.
