Ten-man Ayr see off Stranraer
Ayr overcame the sending off of midfielder Ross Docherty to take home a 2-1 win from Stranraer.Craig Moore, 21, celebrated getting the keys to door last week by unlocking the home defence inside four minutes. His right-footed drive gave goalkeeper Conor Brennan no chance. The real drama kicked in when Docherty picked up two quick bookings midway through the second half, for fouls on Andy Stirling. Ayr were rattled when the Blues hit the woodwork for the second time. However, Alan Trouten raced away on the break and scored, seemingly to give the 10-men the victory with 13 minutes to go.Stirling responded from outside the box for Stuart McLaren's men, but there was no time for another chance.
