Hibernian extended their unbeaten run to seven matches with an impressive second-half show to earn a 2-0 win at Queen of the South. The breakthrough came in the 63rd minute when Jason Cummings was brought down by James Atkinson and the goalkeeper failed to make amends as Dylan McGeouch made no mistake with the spot-kick for his second goal of the season.Scott Robertson doubled the advantage and made the points safe 12 minutes later with a superb shot from outside the area.Iain Russell almost fired the hosts in front in only the fourth minute when his shot struck a post while Liam Fontaine threatened for Hibs in the first half but his header from a Scott Allan corner was cleared off the line.
