AMHERST, Mass. -- — Rahsool Diggins scored 16 points and Massachusetts beat Duquesne 80-61 in an Atlantic 10 Conference opener on Wednesday night.
Diggins shot 5 of 8 from the field and 6 for 7 from the line for the Minutemen (10-3). Matt Cross scored 15 points and added eight rebounds. Jaylen Curry was 4 of 6 shooting, including 2 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 6 from the line to finish with 15 points.
Dae Dae Grant finished with 18 points and two steals for the Dukes (9-4). Duquesne also got 16 points and two steals from Jimmy Clark III. Halil Barre also had eight points.
