MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- — Ja'Kobi Gillespie had 23 points, Malik Dia scored 22 and Belmont beat Middle Tennessee 75-65 on Saturday night.
Gillespie added four steals for the Bruins (8-3). Dia shot 8 of 15 from the floor and 5 of 7 from the free-throw line. Isaiah Walker had 11 points and shot 4 for 5, including 3 for 3 from beyond the arc. The Bruins picked up their sixth straight victory.
Elias King led the way for the Blue Raiders (5-6) with 27 points. Chris Loofe added 12 points for Middle Tennessee. Jared Jones also put up 11 points and seven rebounds.
