The full-time whistle goes, and it finishes 2-2 between Bayern Munich and Arsenal at Allianz Arena. That was an excellent game between two excellent teams, but Bayern will feel they probably should have won it. They fell behind midway through the first half when Eze, on as a substitute for the injured Saka, collected Odegaard's excellent punt in behind and rolled past Neuer. Bayern were level before the break when Kane's stupendous throughball was slid past Raya by Davies. The second half started at an electric pace with Neuer and Raya making sublime saves from Guimaraes and Upamecano, respectively. The hosts hit the front when Kane netted from the spot after Timber was pinged for handball when blocking the England captain's shot. But credit to Arsenal, who found a way back into the game, with Rice drilling past Neuer after excellent work with Madueke and Gyokeres. Bayern's superior xG of 2.51 to 1.4 hints at the fact they had the better openings, but it finishes level here in Bavaria.
