Rival forwards Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Sio Siua Taukeiaho have lasted just 20 seconds before being sin-binned in the NRL preliminary final between the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne.

The pair clashed in the first tackle of the match, with Storm prop Asofa-Solomona striking Taukeiaho twice in the face with an open hand.

Taukeiaho sized up to throw a punch but did not connect. The pair were both marched for 10 minutes with the penalty awarded to the Roosters.
